Divine Love; Why the world needs it!!

As a Reiki Master, I am accustomed to being a conduit for the Universal Love energy that flows through me to my clients. It is an honor for spirit to utilize me in this way to help my clients with whatever is ailing them.

It wasn't until I became a Master in Holy Fire Karuna Reiki that the concept of Divine Love was made clear for me. What is Divine Love? You might ask. To explain I am going to take you on a little journey: Close your eyes and imagine the Creator, God, Great Spirit, Universe or what have you. Now imagine that you are the creator of something extraordinary, you would most likely be fascinated by your creation and you would know all the intimate details of what it is and how and why it works the way it does. Obviously, if you are a parent you would have experienced this with your child. But that is Unconditional Love between a Parent and their child, because there are no conditions where a parent ceases to love their children. Now imagine Unconditional Love on steroids and having that type of love for everyone you encounter on the street during your day. That is Divine Love. Simply put it is recognizing and honoring the creation spark in each and everyone you meet.

Great, so now we know what Divine Love is; why does the world need it? Think of any conflict going on in the world currently. Now look at it from the position of Divine Love. What you will notice is two egos that disagree with one another. Divine Love recognizes the creation spark in both sides of the conflict and if you do that, suddenly the conflict becomes trivial because Divine Love shows us the importance of both sides. Then mediating a win/win solution to the conflict or disagreement is the best way to honor that Divine Spark that is in us all.

Great, so now we have the answer to conflict, but this is too idealistic for some people and human nature will not allow for Love to flourish. You might be thinking. To that I would say, that is up to each and every individual to always strive to look at every thing from a place of Divine Love and recognize and honor the creator's spark in all those you encounter. I never said it would be easy, but it is possible!! I challenge you to strive to always look at things from a place of Divine Love.
