"Follow Your Dreams: The Path to Prosperity"

I had dreams of my own, one of them was becoming a Hairstylist. I had this vision of owning my own salon with my own staff, etc. That dream did not follow thru due to life circumstances, which we all deal with from time to time. When I look back and remember how passionate I was about that dream, I am glad that my life did take a different direction.

Following your dreams can lead to prosperity in a few ways. When you are passionate about what you do and are able to pursue your interests and goals, you are more likely to be motivated and engaged in what you do.

We all have dreams — of doing something meaningful, of making a difference in the world, and of course making some extra money on the side. But how do you turn those dreams into reality?

What is it that you want to achieve? Some people know what they want right away — but others take longer to figure it out. That was me! I had a dream but I really did not know what I wanted to achieve besides owning a salon and becoming a Hairstylist. There is more to just following your dreams.

The journey of following your dreams can be difficult, but it can also be the most rewarding journey you will ever take. When you find yourself living life on your terms and doing what makes you feel happy and fulfilled, you know that you are truly living the life you were meant to live. It's not always easy as there are some obstacles that we must overcome along the way. Some of those obstacles for me were :

1. Fear of failure

and

2. Self-Doubt

It is very normal to feel those things but, when we fail or fall short of our expectations, it does not mean we have failed completely - it simply means we need to try something else or learn from our mistakes so that we can succeed next time around!

When we don't see our dreams fulfilled in the lives of others, it's harder for us to believe that it could happen for us. If you're following your dream and still struggling, I want to encourage you with three things:

You're not alone.

Your life is not over if you fail at this one thing.

You can still change your life by following your dream again.

That initial dream of becoming a Hairstylist didn't happen but my need to serve others came to fruition in a different manner. I am a business owner, made it to 3rd place in the Readers choice Awards in the Halton Region and currently working towards another goal ( Stay tuned ).
