Are you diabetic? It is very important to manage diabetes effectively to reduce the risk of life threatening complications. Many have asked me if Reflexology can help with their diabetes. Well, you can not just assume that coming to see me every week for a session that it will go away especially if you are continuing to eat those cookies or ice cream. It definitely does not work that way. You have to put some work into it. If you are looking for the holistic and healthier way to help yourself, YOU MUST put some work into it. I'm just here to help your body heal itself. Taking prescription medication does not heal your diabetes, it just controls and manages it. So, why take meds that will alter your other organs? Do it the holistic way.
For individuals with diabetes, reflexology may help regulate blood sugar levels by improving circulation and reducing stress. When circulation is improved, more oxygen and nutrients can reach the cells, including those in the pancreas, which is responsible for producing insulin. By reducing stress, reflexology may also help to reduce cortisol levels, a hormone that has been shown to interfere with insulin function.
Some people with diabetes find that incorporating reflexology into their overall wellness routine can help them better manage their condition.

Cardiovascular disease: People with diabetes have a higher risk of heart disease and stroke.
Neuropathy: High blood sugar levels can damage the nerves, leading to numbness, pain, and tingling in the extremities.
Kidney damage: Over time, high blood sugar levels can cause damage to the kidneys, leading to kidney disease or kidney failure.
Eye problems: Diabetes can cause a range of eye problems, including diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, and glaucoma.
Foot problems: Nerve damage and poor circulation can lead to foot problems, such as infections, ulcers, and even amputation.
Skin problems: Diabetes can make it more difficult for skin cuts and sores to heal.
Dental problems: High blood sugar levels can increase the risk of gum disease and other dental problems.
